Japan FM: Tokyo concerned about unrest in Egypt, which claimed lives

Japan is very concerned about the disorders, which continue in Egypt, and which on Saturday claimed lives, Japan’s Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida said on Sunday. “We are calling on all sides in the conflict to act responsibly and to avoid violence,” Kishida said. “Egypt’s people should apply great effort to achieve unanimity.” During the clashes between supporters of the former president and the police in Cairo and Egypt’s other cities, 80 people died and 800 got injured.
