
Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, on Tuesday, commended a meeting he held with His Majesty King Abdullah II at the Nuclear Security Summit that took place in Washington last week and said he had important discussions during the meeting.
Abe said in a speech to mark the opening of the Arab week in Japan that the meeting was part of an important meetings and contacts he had with some Arab leaders in recent months.
Abe said there are several common denominators between Japan and Arab countries, include respect for tradition and moderation. He said his government is keen to have stronger ties with the Arab countries.
