A large group of Jewish settlers on Wednesday broke into al-Khader village south of the West Bank city of Bethlehem under the protection of Israeli soldiers. Coordinator of the Popular Committee Against the Wall in Al-Khader village Ahmed Salah said in a press release that around 70 Jewish settlers broke into the historic site of Berak Sulaiman in Bethlehem to practice their rituals. "This provocative act is not the first of its kind, and was repeated for four times in the past", the statement added. The act is part of the settlers' plan to annex more Palestinians lands to expand 'Efrat' settlement, it said.
