Scores of Jewish settlers on Sunday pushed deep into Al Aqsa mosque from Bab al Maghreba gate under tight security measures from the Israeli police.
Sources in Al Quds City said more than 120 settlers in small groups entered the holy mosque under tight security measures imposed by Israeli police.
Groups of female employees at the mosque banned the settlers from heading for Qobbat al Sakhra (the Dome of the Rock) and chanted "God is Great" in the face of the settlers, forcing them to leave.
Meanwhile, a number of Jewish settlers have attacked a group of women who were coming out of the mosque under the eyes of the Israeli occupation forces.
Also, the Israeli occupants arrested young Palestinians while leaving the mosque from Bab El Selsela and led them to an investigation center.
