Jordan, EU discuss cooperation in police work

 Director of the Public Security Department (PSD) General Tawfiq Hamid Tawalbeh discussed on Wednesday with European Union Ambassador to Jordan Juanna Veronica ways of enhancing cooperation in areas of police work.Talks during the meeting also dealt with implementing the twinning projects between the two countries’ specialized public security units.Tawalbeh praised the European Union’s support for the Jordanian PSD in terms of developing and qualifying its personnel which contributed to enhancing their performance and the acquisition of distinct experiences that enriched the modern police work.The envoy hailed the efforts of the Jordanian police department stressing that the continuous collaboration in the twinning projects will boost the successful bilateral partnership between Jordan and the countries of the Union.
