Jordan minister of political and parliamentary affairs meets Swedish official

Minister of Political and Parliamentary Affairs Khaled Kalaldeh said Jordan has made major progress towards reforms that will pave the way for enhancing partisan and parliamentary life.At a meeting with First Deputy Speaker of the Swedish Parliament Susanne Eberstein, the minister said reform was progressing in line with the royal vision, noting that it meets the aspirations of all political forces and components of the civil society to expand public participation in decision making.The minister, he added, is keen to set up strong partnerships with political parties, civil society institutions and popular movements to be a main pillar for the political life the country aspires for.The Swedish official praised the Kingdom’s reform process and voiced willingness to forge closer parliamentary ties between the two countries.
