
Jordanian King Abdullah II on Saturday conferred with German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier on regional developments and efforts exerted to fight terrorism and their groups.
A statement released by the Royal Hashmite Court said the meeting took up means of achieving peace as the two sides called on all bodies concerned to work on providing appropriate circumstances to revive the Middle East peace process based on the two-state solution and the international legitimacy resolutions.
King Abdullah II asserted that Jordan was keen on boosting relations with German in all domains.
The German top diplomat on his part voiced his country's appreciation for efforts exerted by the Jordanian monarch to coordinate with Germany vis-a-vis regional and international issues.
The meeting was attended by Head of the Hashmite Court Fayez Tarawenah, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Nasser Judah and the German ambassador in Jordan
