Jordan, Palestine reject alternative homeland plan

 Palestinian people’s relations with Jordan are based on complete confidence and continuous consultation and coordination on all issues, a Palestinian official said.A statement released Monday by the Palestinian Presidential spokesman, Nabil Abu Rdainah, said, “We agree with His Majesty King Abdullah II that Jordan is Jordan and Palestine is Palestine, no to settling Palestinians in the Kingdom and no to any alternative homeland.”Palestinian National Authority President Mahmoud Abbas’ strategy is based on continuous consultation and coordination with Jordan, and we both agree to the terms and references of the peace process, and the common two-state solution with East Jerusalem as the capital of a Palestinian state, the statement added.
