Jordan transport minister discusses cooperation with Yemeni delegation

Minister of Transport Lina Shbeeb met on Monday with the Chairman of the Yemeni General Authority for Civil Aviation and Meteorology, Hamid Faraj, and the accompanying delegation.The minister briefed the delegation on projects that will be implemented by the ministry, mainly the expansion of the Queen Alia International Airport and the mechanism governing the work of the security agencies at the airport.She also voiced readiness to provide expertise and facilities to the Yemeni side in transport-related fields.The Yemeni official said his country was interested in boosting cooperation and coordination with Jordan in areas related to civil aviation, airport management and meteorology.
