Jordanian King Abdullah II to start European tour

The Jordanian Monarch King Abdullah II will Sunday start a work visit to Brussels in Belgium, and Strasbourg in France.
According to the Jordanian news agency (Petra), King Abdulla II will hold talks in Brussels, the first leg of his tour, with Belgian Prime Minister Charles Michel and senior officials on ways to bolster bilateral ties, as well as the latest regional and global developments.
He will also meet NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg to discuss relations with NATO.
In Strasbourg, King Abdulla II will deliver a speech at the headquarters of the European Union (EU). He will highlight his vision on the main issues and challenges facing the Middle East, mainly the war against terrorism and efforts to bolster security and stability in the region.
He will also hold talks with top EU officials on ties between Jordan and the EU and the latest developments in the Middle East.
