
Deputizing for His Majesty King Abdullah II, Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh received a delegation from the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington headed by Middle East Program Director Jon Alterman.
During the meeting, Tarawneh reviewed regional and international developments and efforts to combat terrorism and promote security and stability.
He also highlighted the comprehensive reform process carried out by Jordan, according to the vision of His Majesty, to ensure the consolidation of a democratic approach as the basis to the process of construction, development and modernization.
The delegation said they appreciated the reform efforts led by His Majesty and his "unwearied efforts" to achieve a just and comprehensive peace in the Middle East, as well as his vision for dealing wisely with the challenges facing the region.
