Jordan's Senate Speaker meets EBRD delegation

Speaker of the Jordan Senate Taher Al Masri met here on Tuesday with a delegation from The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD). Al Masri briefed the delegation on Jordan''s reform march and stressed the important role of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in supporting and sustaining reform measures in the kingdom. Senate Speaker hailed the bank''s decision to expand in the Middle East and North Africa to include Jordan in addition to Egypt, Morocco and Tunisia in its activities. The two sides discussed means of benefitting from the bank''s activities in supporting developmental projects in addition to Jordan''s application to join the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
