Jordon hosts Friends of Syria Meetings

The core group among Friends of Syria is set to meet here next week. In a press statement, the Spokesman of the Jordanian ministry of foreign affairs Sabah Al-Ruffa'ai pointed that the gathering will comprise foreign ministers of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirate, Qatar, U.S., Britain, France, Turkey, Germany and Italy. The meetings will focus on completing the tasks of previous meetings, namely the two meetings those took place in Istanbul and Abu Dhabi, to discuss the horrendous events in Syria and to coordinate stances on the ground, in the light of the Russian-American understanding to revive the political drive to solve the crisis, through holding international conference, in this respect.
