Justice Minister Salim Jreissati received on Friday a delegation of the families of the Istanbul's Reina Club attack's victims and assured them that efforts are underway and contacts are ongoing with the Turkish authorities to redeem their full rights.
In the wake of the meeting, Jreissati said "upon the request of the President and the Prime Minister, I have received the relatives of the Istanbul attack victims, accompanied by a number of lawyers, and I have informed them that the State is handling their defense case (...) at its expense."
The Minister assured that all the necessary proceedings would be made by the authority tasked to follow up on the investigations into the attack.
"An action plan will be set and referred to the cabinet," Jreissati went on, stressing that contacts are made with the concerned Turkish authorities to guarantee for the affected persons all their rights.
