US Secretary of State John Kerry will attend a meeting in Rome on Tuesday for countries fighting Daesh militants and then go on to London the next day for an aid conference on Syria, the State Department said.
Tuesday's meeting in Rome "will review progress to date and discuss ways to further intensify commitments across all lines of effort to degrade and defeat" the terrorist group, State Department spokesman John Kirby said in a statement.
On February 3, Secretary Kerry will travel to London, United Kingdom, the statement added.
"While in London, he will lead the U.S. delegation to the Fourth Syria Donors Conference which will include 25 world leaders from other donor nations impacted by the crisis."
The Conference will be hosted jointly by the United Kingdom, Germany, Norway, Kuwait, and the United Nations.
