Foreign Minister, Ali Kerti received at his office, Thursday, the Kenyan Ambassador to Sudan on the occasion of the expiry of his term of office in Sudan . The Ambassador has expressed appreciation to the government of Sudan and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for the help he received during his work in Sudan which witnessed the implementation of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement (CPA) which was sponsored by his country . The Kenyan diplomat affirmed his country's concern over maintaining of peace in the region, in general, and Sudan and the State of South Sudan, inparticular, referring to the historical role being played by the President of the Republic, Field Marshal Omer Al-Basher in this connection . Meanwhile, Kerti thanked the Ambassador eor the efforts he exerted to develop his country's relations with Sudan .
