Some 3,500 Syrian refugee families in Lebanon and other affected Lebanese people have so far benefited from a massive humanitarian campaign being launched by the Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation (KF) in Arsal town, Lebanon.
The town in Baalbek District is facing a severe humanitarian situation as it hosts a large number of Syrian refugees.
Bakhit Al Khateri, media specialist at the Humanitarian and Development Attach, UAE Embassy in Lebanon, said the humanitarian mission, which will last until 17 April, is part of the UAE's winter humanitarian response for the Syrian refugees in Lebanon.
Today, he stated, 750 Syrian refugee families received the assistance, which included a food package, detergents and blankets.
