Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has sent a cable of congratulations to US President Barack Obama on his election for a second term. "On the occasion of your election as president of the United States for a second term, I express to you our congratulations and best wishes in my name and on behalf of the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, wishing you constant good health and happiness, and the people of the United States of America more progress and prosperity. We praise on this occasion the strength of close historical relations between our two friendly countries which we have been keen on their development in all fields, expressing our greetings and appreciation of your excellency,” the king's message said.
