King Abdullah II meets with HE Qatar chief of staff

King Abdullah II of Jordan who is also the supreme commander of the armed forces, met here on Thursday with HE Chief of Staff of the Qatari Armed Forces Maj.Gen.Hamad bin Ali Al Attiyah. At the outset of the meeting HE Maj.Gen. Al Attiyah, conveyed greetings of HH the Emir of Qatar Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, to King Abdullah II. A press release issued by the Royal Court said that the meeting addressed relations of cooperation between the two countries and issues of common concern.  The meeting was attended by Jordan's chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Lt. General Meshaal Mohamed al-Zabin and the delegation accompanying HE the Chief of Staff. King Abdullah II, granted HE Major General Al-Attiyah the Order of Military Merit of the First Class.
