King Hamad concludes a state visit to India

King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa of Bahrain left here on Thursday wrapping up a three-day state visit to India during which he held talks with Indian President Pranab Mukherjee which focussed on the deep-rooted relations between the two countries under the sealed agreements and memoranda of understanding, and a set of other regional and international issues of mutual interest, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported. During the visit King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa also met earlier Wednesday with the Indian Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari and reviewed bilateral relations and ways of boosting bilateral cooperation in all fields, as well as regional and international issues of mutual interest. Separately, the Bahraini Monarch held a session of official talks with the Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. The talks dealt with the relations between the two countries and the latest regional and international developments. Following the talks a number of agreements and MOUs were signed between the two countries.
