King Hamad receives Bishop Camillo Ballin

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa today received at Al-Sakheer Palace Apostolic Vicar of Northern Arabia Bishop Camillo Ballin and hailed his outstanding efforts to promote benevolence, love and tolerance. HM the King took pride in the Kingdom of Bahrain, which established itself over years as a haven of peaceful co-existence and respect for all religions. He stressed keenness on promoting the values of fraternity between different religions and bolstering interfaith relations. He pointed out Bahrainis' respect for all religions, commending citizens' awareness, modern mindset and keen interest to communicate with all people. For his part, Bishop Camillo Ballin presented HM the King with a historic old copy of the Holy Quran.
