
Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman advised the country’s newly designated ambassadors to work on enhancing relations between Saudi Arabia and the brotherly and friendly countries.
He was speaking at the oath-taking ceremony of 13 new ambassadors to different countries at Al-Salam Palace in Jeddah on Tuesday.
“We swear by Almighty Allah to be faithful to the religion and then to our king and homeland, not to reveal state secrets, and to protect the country’s interests and regulations,” pledged the new ambassadors. “We will perform our work with utmost truthfulness, honesty and sincerity.”
According to SPA, the 13 ambassadors who took the oath are Abdul Aziz bin Hamoud Al-Zaid (Sweden); Abdul Aziz bin Mohammed Al-Wasil (EU); Abdul Aziz Mohammed Al-Badi (Tajikistan); Masoud Ali Al-Orabi Al-Harthi (Mali); Mohammed Abdul Ghani Khayat (Kenya); Sahl bin Mustafa Arksos (Myanmar); Walid Abdul Rahman Al-Hamoudi (Burkina Faso); Abdul Aziz bin Abdullah Al-Dawood (Djibouti); Abdullah Faleh Al-Aerjana (Ethiopia); Adel bin Abdul Rahman Bakhsh (Portugal); Fahad Al-Ruwaili (Denmark); Mohammed Mansour Al-Malik (Tanzania) and Osama Mohammed Al-Shuaibi (Indonesia). The ambassadors thanked King Salman for the royal trust bestowed on them. The event was attended by Makkah Gov. Prince Khaled Al-Faisal and a number of officials. Also on Monday, King Salman received princes, sheikhs, ministers and groups of citizens who came to greet him.
