MP Hani Kobeissi, member of Liberation and Development parliamentary bloc, lamented on Sunday the faltering of several Lebanese political parties and currents to condemn recent Israeli violations of Lebanese territory. The MP said that last week the army of the Zionist enemy has made a foray into Lebanese territory beyond the Blue Line. In his words, Israeli soldiers tried to plant a bomb in order to sow discord in Lebanon. "Despite this, several political parties and currents were silent while they hastened to declare positions on other events on the Lebanese scene." Kobeissi asserted that Amal movement, including Speaker Nabih Berri, work to revive dialogue to protect Lebanon during this critical period. He said that any attempt to prevent the formation of the government and paralyze Parliament represented a serious threat to Lebanon. Kobeissi called on the Lebanese to focus on the unity of their country. "The strength of Lebanon lies in the trinity of Army-People-Resistance, which has confronted the Israeli enemy, ensuring victory and the liberation of Lebanon," he concluded.
