
The 10th annual Korea-Middle East Cooperation Forum is very important to bolster ties between the two sides, Kuwait's Ambassador to the Republic of South Korea Jassem Al-Bdaiwi said Wednesday. Al-Bdaiwi told KUNA on the sidelines of the event that South Korea and the Arab world were eager to enhance cooperation within the economic, commercial, and industrial fields. He affirmed that the forum would help to develop relations between the two sides, affirming that both South Korea and the Arab region were interested in further enhancing cooperation within various fields. The annual Korean-Middle East Cooperation Forum began in 2003. It is organized by the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in cooperation with the Korea-Arab Society and the Emirates Centre for Strategic Studies and Research (ECSSR).
