
Korean Air resumed flights between St. Petersburg and Seoul on Thursday.
According to St. Petersburg airport Pulkovo Press Office, the carrier will operate three weekly services from Incheon International Airport to Pulkovo International Airport throughout the summer season.
Travelers can catch a direct flight between Russia's second largest city and the capital of South Korea on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.
Korean Air is the only airline operating direct services from St. Petersburg to Seoul. In 2015, the direct traffic on the route grew by 42 percent year on year to 31,200 passengers.
Korean Air is the largest carrier of South Korea, and a member of the SkyTeam airline alliance. The airline's fleet includes 166 airplanes; number of staff exceeds 20,000 employees.
