Kuwait ambassador meets Italian PM advisor

Kuwaiti Ambassador to Italy Sheikh Ali Khalid Al-Jaber Al-Sabah met on Wednesday with the Italian Prime Minister's political Advisor Armando Varricchio to discuss the upcoming visit of the PM to Kuwait. The two sides discussed the Italian-Kuwaiti relations and cooperation, including the latest regional and international developments. Sheikh Ali told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the two countries are working on developing their cooperation in all fields, including resolving international issues and maintaining peace and stability. The visit of Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta to Kuwait to meet with His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah is of great importance to developing both countries' cooperation in economy and investment, said the Ambassador. Sheikh Ali expected the visit to be of positive results, as was the case with His Highness the Amir's visit to Italy in 2010, which resulted in further cooperation in all fields. The Italian PM is expected to arrive in Kuwait on February 4 as part of his GCC visit which includes the UAE and Qatar.
