Kuwait, Bangladesh hold security talks in Dhaka

The visiting Kuwait's Interior Undersecretary Lieutenant General Sulaiman Al-Fahad met here on Sunday with Bangladesh's Army Chief of Staff General Iqbal Karim Bhuiyan and his assistant for administrative affairs and man force, Major General Muhammad Mahfouz el Rahman.
Lieut. Gen. Al-Fahad and the accompanying delegation also met with the Armed Forces Director of the Premiership, Abu Bilal Mohammad Shafi. The meeting was followed with a visual presentation about the Bangladeshi Armed Forces.
The Kuwaiti and Bangladeshi sides discussed means of cementing cooperation, boosting exchange of information and security expertise.
During the five-day visit, the Kuwaiti delegation aims at swapping expertise and information with the local authorities, as well as enhancing mutual security cooperation.
The Kuwaiti officials are due to meet with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina Wajed and a number of senior officials.
