Kuwait Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah's visit to Dar Es Salam aims at discussing bilateral ties with Tanzania, and taking part in Southern African Development Community (SADC) ministerial meeting, a foreign ministry source said Saturday. The source, in a statement to KUNA, was reacting to queries by some media over purpose of Sheikh Sabah's visit to Tanzania. The source said Sheikh Sabah received an invitation to visit Tanzania months ago, and the visit was an opportunity to meet with African foreign ministers to prepare for the Arab-African Summit that would be held in Kuwait in November. Sheikh Sabah's meeting with his African counterparts, added the source, also touched upon the agenda of the forthcoming summit as well as issues of mutual interest.
