The Interior Ministry said it has adopted all security measures to bring about success for the field and administrative plan for the Afro-Arab Summit, due on November 18-20. Colonel Adel Al-Hashash, Acting Director of Public Relations and Moral Guidance and Security Media Department, said Undersecretary and Chairman of the Preparatory Security Committee General Ghazi Al-Omar was closely following the implementation of the plan. Al-Hashash said in a statement a complete rehearsal on the route of motorcades would be carried out on Saturday. The rehearsal, he added, aimed at addressing negative aspects of the plan. He said the Afro-Arab Summit was a very important event at the political and economic levels, and reflected Kuwait's key role regionally and internationally.
