Kuwait lawyers visit ICJ, Hague Academy of International Law

A delegation of Kuwait Lawyers Association visited a number of UN-affiliated law institutions in the Hague, Netherlands, Tuesday.
The delegation visited the Peace Palace, which is home to a number of international judicial institutions, including the International Court of Justice (ICJ), the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), and Hague Academy of International Law, Tareq Al-Shumaimri, Counsellor at Embassy of Kuwait in The Hague, told KUNA by phone.
Visiting these internationally renowned institutions is so significant due to their importance in terms of boosting international relations, Othman Al-Saif, delegation member, told KUNA, adding that this visit would mark the beginning of cooperation with the PCA.
Meanwhile, Abdulmalek Al-Awadhi, head of international relations committee at Kuwait Lawyers Association, expressed his gratitude to Kuwait Embassy for its organization of the delegation's visit.
