State of Kuwait recognized the Republic of Kosovo and would start exchanging diplomatic representations at the Ambassadorial level, government spokesman confirmed Monday. Minister of state for cabinet affairs Ali Al-Rashed said the government officially recognized the Republic of Kosovo upon instructions of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and would be exchanging diplomatic representations at level of Ambassadors. The cabinet, meeting under chairmanship of His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Mohammad Al-Sabah, assigned the foreign ministry to take appropriate measures to bolstering ties with Kosovo, said Al-Rashed.
