Kuwait's defence minister receives Kuwaiti officers engaged in course

Visiting Kuwait's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah received here on Wednesday Kuwaiti officers enrolled at the Royal Command and Staff College (RCSC) of the Bahrain Defence Forces. The Minister praised the officers for taking part in a training course, including officers and personnel from other GCC states, saying such joint activity "would bolster the concept of joint action among the GCC armed forces. " Sheikh Sabah Khaled expressed gratitude to the Kingdom of Bahrain, namely the Defense Forces, for furnishing participants in the course with all necessities and urged the officers to seek to excel for sake of serving the homeland. The Minister arrived in Manama on Wednesday to take part in the opening ceremony of the Third Bahrain International Airshow, planned Thursday. The visit comes upon invitation from Bahraini Defense Force Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. The Defense Minister was received at the airport by Minister of State for Defence Affairs, Lieutenant General Dr. Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chief of Staff Major General Sheikh Daij bin Salman Al Khalifa, Kuwaiti Ambassador to Bahrain Sheikh Azzam Mubarak Al-Sabah and Kuwaiti Military Attache in Bahrain Brigadier Ali Al-Asaker
