Kuwaiti officials revealed on Monday that they have started contacts with Tehran over the case of two of their compatriots arrested by Iranian security bodies on spying charges on Sunday.A Kuwait foreign ministry official rejected the charges against the two Kuwaiti nationals, and said his country has contacted Tehran over the case of the two. While Kuwait alleges that the two work for a TV station and have come to Iran to prepare a report, Tehran insists that the two have been arrested while carrying spying devices. "These two Kuwaiti nationals were fully equipped with spying devices," Governor of the Southwestern City of Abadan Bahram Ilkhas-zadeh told FNA. He added that the two have been arrested by the Iranian intelligence ministry forces in Abadan. Iranian officials informed the media of the case on Sunday, but representative of Abadan at the parliament told FNA today that the two had been arrested during the last two days.
