Kuwait urges citizens to avoid Thailand for now

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday urged Kuwaiti citizens planning to travel to Thailand "to wait for the time being," and urged the nationals present there to depart this country. A Ministry official source said the notification was necessary to preserve the citizens' lives due to the current events there. The source urged the Kuwaitis in Thailand to contact the Kuwaiti embassy in case they needed help, at the telephone number: +6626366600 during the official work hours between Monday and Friday, from 9:30 a.m. till 3:30 p.m. (Thailand's local time).
