A delegation representing Kuwait's Ministry of Defense has taken part in the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition, recently held on the Malaysian island Langkawi with participation of 36 states.
Kuwait's Ambassador to Malaysia Saad Al-Asousi said in remarks to KUNA on Wednesday that the delegation, including commander of the Kuwaiti Navy Rear Admiral Khaled Al-Abdullah and the Air Force Commander, Air Commodore Abdullah Al-Fodari, had concluded an official visit to Malaysia after the participation in the exhibition.
The Kuwaiti delegation met, during the event, with senior officials of the Malaysian Ministry of Defense, and received a briefing about status and qualifications of the Malaysian forces.
The ambassador affirmed the embassy readiness to play a role in boosting defense cooperation between the two countries.
The exhibition is held once each two years.
