Kuwaiti consul general in Milan meets officials in Trieste

Kuwait Consul General in Milan and Northern Italy, Abdulnasser Bu Khadhoor met Friday with officials in Trisete, the capital of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, on ways of boosting bilateral relations and cooperation.Bu Khadhoor met with the deputy governor of Trieste who welcomed the Kuwaiti diplomat and discussed cooperation with economic, industrial and scientific institutions. They also discussed means of expanding economic, trade, touristic and educational cooperation.The deputy governor said the Italian Prime Minister Enrico Letta's upcoming visit to Kuwait next week would encourage Kuwaiti investments in Trieste.Bu Khadhoor also met with the deputy mayor of Trieste and discussed cooperation between Kuwait and the autonomous Friuli Venezia Giulia region. The deputy mayor highlighted important role of the private sector in exploring investment opportunities in Kuwait and Trieste. Bu Khadhoor, in a statement to KUNA, said he told the officials in Trieste that the consulate of Kuwait was ready to provide all information and facilities for Italian investors and companies wishing to do business in Kuwait.
