Egypt deserves the support of the Arab countries due to its huge role in upholding joint Arab action, said Kuwait's permanent delegate to the Arab League Aziz al-Dehany. Meantime, the Kuwaiti diplomat said his country would host the second international donor conference on Syria on January 15 in response to a request by United Nations chief Ban Ki-moon, Dehany told reporters on Thursday. Kuwait is keen on alleviating the suffering of the Syrian people, he said, adding that Kuwait has hosted the first meeting in January and raised $1.6 billion for the Syrians.
