
A Kuwaiti diplomat attributed her selection to represent the Middle East region at the international diplomats society in Spain, to the Kuwaiti woman's efficiency and pioneering role in several fields, as well as accomplishments in various squares. In an exclusive statement to KUNA, Maha Mohammad Al-Qenaei, who works at the Kuwaiti Embassy in Madrid, said she will work, during her participation in the society, on highlighting the role and image of Kuwaiti and Arab female diplomats, as well as their vital role in building societies, asserting that Arab women has proven here efficiency and capability on all levels. Al-Qenaei praised the march of Kuwaiti woman on the political arena, her effective participation in various fields of life, and her contribution to the development of Kuwaiti society, which moved towards democracy and freedom. She also stressed importance of showcasing the civilized, human, and diplomatic role of Kuwait, as well as highlighting the country's effective presence and significant contribution to serving international and regional issues, and deepening human and cultural communication among people of the world. In addition, the Kuwaiti diplomat affirmed the embassy's keenness, notably Ambassador Dr. Suleiman Al-Harbi, to boost bilateral relations between Kuwait and Spain in various areas, especially as this year is witnessing the 50th anniversary of Kuwaiti-Spanish diplomatic ties. In the same context, Al-Qenaei indicated that she hosted a meeting yesterday for members of the board of the international diplomats society, which included representatives from countries from North and South America, Europe, Asia, Middle East and Africa
