
Kuwaiti Ambassador to Kenya Yousif Al-Sanad submitted his credentials to the President of Rwanda Paul Kagame as the non-resident Ambassador to the country. The Kuwaiti Ambassador met with President Kagame in the Rwandan capital Kigali. He conveyed greetings from the Kuwaiti leadership to the President of Rwanda. President Kagame thanked the Kuwaiti leadership and people for their sincere gestures, affirming that he would be looking forward to participate in the upcoming Arab-African Summit to be held in Kuwait on November 18-20. Al-Sanad, on his part, affirmed Kuwait's keenness to bolster relations with Rwanda. Al-Sanad is the first Kuwaiti diplomat to serve as a non-resident Ambassador to Rwanda. The Kuwaiti diplomat met with Rwandan officials before the credentials ceremony, discussing means to bolster bilateral relations.
