His highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, with the attendance of His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, received on Monday at Amiri Airport the United States Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter, and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Sabah Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior Sheikh Mohammad Al-Khalid Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense (retired) Lieutenant General Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah, and Deputy Minister of Amiri Diwan Affairs Sheikh Ali Jarrah Al-Sabah.
