MP Abdullah Al-Turaiji says there is a spy network in the country, stressing he has information about the members of the alleged network and their positions, reports Al-Rai daily. He specified that most of them are Kuwaitis while others are from GCC countries and they intend to destabilize the national security and topple the ruling regime. “What provoked me to shed light publicly on the case is the negligence of the government towards the case,” said Al-Turaiji who claimed he visited one of the houses where the members gather. He further highlighted several political issues including his situation towards the so-called majority bloc and the appeal submitted against him by former lawmaker Dr Maasouma Al-Mubarak. Meanwhile, Head of investigation committee of overseas transfers’ scandal MP Faisal Al-Mislem will meet Sunday Kuwait’s ambassadors to United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Lebanon, France and USA to resume case investigations. According to informed sources, the committee will not summon the suspects unless sufficient evidences to confront them are collated. In another development, MP Adel Al-Damkhi says the Finance Ministry is full of corruption and it has become necessary to change the minister of finance. He added the majority bloc will discuss the pivots of Al-Shimali’s inquest with the government. Meanwhile, regarding the alleged objections against the Popular Labor Bloc’s inquest submitted against Al-Shimali, Deputy Parliament Speaker and member of Salafist Bloc MP Khalid Al-Sultan clarified that the bloc’s stand in this case will be in line with the decision of the parliamentary majority bloc.
