Kuwaiti speaker chairs AIPU meeting on sideline of IPU's Assembly

The President of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU) and the (Kuwaiti) National Assembly Speaker, Marzouq Ali Al-Ghanim, headed Saturday the union's meeting on the sideline of the 132nd Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) Assembly.
Speaking to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) and Kuwait Television, Al-Ghanim said that the Arab group focused its meeting on the issue of terrorism and means to define it.
He added that the AIPU group also agreed during its meeting to coordinate efforts during the IPU Assembly.
He indicated that the Arab group's meeting followed previous meetings held by the GCC and OIC groups which Kuwait took part in.
Al-Ghanim met with the IPU's President Dr. Saber Hossain, discussing issues connected to cooperation between the IPU and Kuwait National Assembly.
