Albanian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Selim Belortaja has commended Kuwait's continuous support to development in his country, saying it reflects strong historical ties between both sides.
During a meeting with the Kuwaiti Ambassador in Tirana Najib Abdulrahman Al-Bader, Belortaja added that the progress of bilateral ties reflected mutual keenness on boosting cooperation in all fields, the embassy said in a statement on Tuesday.
Tirana is looking forward to the first meeting of the Kuwaiti-Albanian higher committee due in Kuwait in May, to be chaired by Foreign Ministers, Belortaja noted.
For his part, Al-Bader said that he and Belortaja discussed a host of issues of common concern, as well as the agenda of the May committee meeting, which will address means to bolster bilateral political, economic and cultural ties.
