Tunisian Interim Prime Minister Ali Larayedh held talks on Saturday with Commissioner of International Relations in Palestine Nabil Shaath on bilateral relations and the latest developments in the Palestinian issue. Talks dealt with the Tunisian-Palestinian relations along with the details of the Palestinian issue, especially with regard to national reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas and ways to strengthen the Palestinian unity, the Tunisian News Agency quoted Shaath as saying in a statement. He explained that the reconciliation and unity is a necessary stage for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state with full sovereignty, stressing that the Palestinian leadership is serious about continuing to work to achieve Palestinian unity within a democratic framework. Shaath's visit to Tunisia came within the framework of participation in the World Social Forum hosted by Tunisia on March 26-30.
