Latin American countries showed keen interest in Russian-made weapons, a Russian official said.The Russian exposition has been visited by officers of the armed forces of Brazil, Argentina, Peru, Chile, Bolivia and Uruguay, said head of the Rosoboronexport Company delegation to the international defense exhibition Sergei Ladygin.The exhibition is currently under way in Rio de Janeiro, the Voice of Russia reported.They were specifically interested in Russian-made helicopters, air defenses and military vehicles.Rosoboronexport said it hopes to sign a contract for the supply of Pantsyr air-defense units to Brazil until the end of June.
