Lavrov, Brahimi to discuss Syria crisis

Practical steps towards settling the crisis in Syria will be discussed here on Monday by Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov and UN/LAS joint envoy Lakhdar Brahimi, Itar-Tass reported The Algerian diplomat visits the Russian capital as a UN emissary for the first time. The two sides would consider in detail possible practical steps for an earliest politico-diplomatic settlement of the crisis in Syria, according to the Russian news agency.
