Lebanese killed by Syrian shelling on border town

A Lebanese citizen was killed after a shell hit a Syrian town that borders Lebanon's northeast region of the Bekaa, the National News Agency reported Monday. Bassel Ahmed al-Haq, 22, died Sunday night when the shell hit an area near his parents' house in the Syrian town of al-Sefsaf, which borders the Lebanese village of Hawsh al-Sayyed Ali in Bekaa 's Hermel region. Several Lebanese people living in the border area have been killed or injured during Syrian troops' operations and shelling.
