Twenty five Lebanese national, Arabic and Islamic parties on Wednesday supported Iran’s regional policies. They also announced their support for the Islamic Republic’s policies and firm stand on Lebanon in a meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Beirut Ghazanfar Roknabadi. Appreciating the positive and constructive role of Iran in their country and in the entire region, they condemned the US and Israel’s accusations and onslaughts against Iran and Syria. The Lebanese parties strongly lambasted the West's recent anti-Iran resolutions. The recent anti-Iran policies prove the West's inability and failure in the Middle East region, the parties announced. They described the two seminars held in Tehran in the past two months on the Islamic awakening and Palestine as well as the guidelines presented by the Supreme Leader Ayatollah seyyed Ali Khamenei and President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in those forums as vital and impressive. The parties called for continuation of Iran’s constructive policies in the region till the defeat of US-Israeli policies against the regional nations especially against the Lebanese resistance movement.
