Lebanese Shiite leader Mohammed al-Hac Hassan stated that they were against the interference of Hezbollah in Syria. Mohammed al-Hac Hassan, who is the founding general president of "Free Shiite Movement" and is known as opposition to Hezbollah, told AA that they rejected the interference of Hezbollah in Syria, and also rejected the interference of Arab countries and Lebanon in Syria. Hac Hassan said that Hezbollah made mistake to consider Syria as "resistance and jihad" area, and added, "To clash with sunnites and Syrians is not appropriate for Shiites." Hac Hassan also conveyed his opinion about the armed clash among Hezbollah militants in Al-Qusayr in Syria and said, "Is Hezbollah rewarding the Syrians in Al-Quasyr by pulling down their house, which were opened to Lebanese without distinction among Sunnites and Shiites during the Israel-Lebanon war in 2006? Shiite families have been mourning due to losing their relatives in Al-Quasyr". Hac Hassan stressed that the interference of Hezbollah in Syria under the name of Shiites reflects badly on the region. "This badly reflection is not reflected with Lebanon, but can spread to all region," said Hac Hassan. Hac Hasan also underlined that clash among Sunnites and Shiites makes no sense today and even tomorrow. "Shiites in Lebanon are fed up with Hezbollah, because Hezbollah leads to wars of religious sect" said Hac Hassan.
