A judge in Lebanon has charged 45 individuals with setting fire to an American fast-food restaurant during recent protests in Tripoli, a prosecutor said. Military Prosecutor Saqr Saqr said the men are accused of setting fire to a KFC establishment on Sept. 14 while demonstrating against a film insulting the Prophet Mohammad, The (Beirut) Daily Star reported. Saqr said the suspects were also charged with beating up police officers and destroying police vehicles. One protester was killed during the demonstration and 27 others were injured including 12 police and a Lebanese Army soldier. The film, titled "Innocence of Muslims,"originated in the United States.
